William and Danielle Slater founded the company in St. Petersburg, FL and then relocated to Tennessee in 1996. Both bring a wealth of knowledge to home education. Danielle holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and has served as a classroom teacher. William holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in education and has served as a school administrator for 25 years. He speaks at educational conferences and conventions and has authored articles for professional journals. William and Danielle’s children are now grown and they have one grandchild.
